Needed a tray for pocketknives; this held 10 of them. Got it used for $12 and it was fine.As a watch enthusiast, there can be numerous watches hanging around on my nightstand at any particular time. I’ve been using a large mousepad as an ad-hoc valet tray so when I saw this item, I decided that an upgrade was in order.I received the medium size tray. It's impressive out of the box with a high-end look and feel, finished in shades of cool gray and blue which I prefer to the usual brown wood and beige offerings. It appears to be a well-made item.The microfiber pad is simultaneously soft and firm that should be good for long term use. I am not sure that the material covering the frame is actually leather as stated since it has a slight plasticky odor but it looks and feels real so and that’s close enough for my purposes.There are no feet on the base but the (p)leather covering is naturally non-slip and it doesn't move around, even on my smooth top nightstand.Overall, I'm very happy with the tray. It both protects and corrals my watches while looking sophisticated and attractive. Exactly what I wanted.Recommended.I was hoping for a nice leather tray to display on a table top of my jewelry table.
